The questions people ask most, answered in a sentence or two, each with a link to the page that explains everything.
Signing in
I didn't get the sign-in email. Check spam and any "Promotions" tab, and wait a minute. Links expire after 15 minutes and work once, so ask for a new one if needed. See Sign up and sign in.
Is there a password? No. You sign in with Google, an email link, or Sign in with Apple on iPhone. See Sign up and sign in.
I signed in and my team's workspace is missing. You probably used a different email from the one you were invited with. Sign out and use the invited address. See Members, roles and invites.
Workspaces and people
How do I invite someone? In Members & settings, type their email, pick admin, member or guest, and click Invite. See Members, roles and invites.
Invites fail with "You've reached your plan's member limit". Your plan's member or guest cap is full. Upgrade, remove someone, or invite outside collaborators as guests. See Plans and limits.
A teammate can't see a page I made. Check which space it's in and who's in that space, or share the page directly. See Spaces and Sharing and access requests.
How do I leave a workspace I own? Transfer ownership first, then leave. See Archive, transfer or leave a workspace.
I deleted a workspace by mistake. There's no restore button yet. Email hello@rodeo.so from the owner's address with the workspace's name. See Archive, transfer or leave a workspace.
Pages and editing
Where's the Save button? There isn't one. Rodeo saves as you type and shows Saved. See The editor in two minutes.
Can I get an old version back? Yes, every page keeps its earlier versions. See Version history.
I deleted a page. Restore it from the trash. See Trash.
Can I move my Notion workspace over? Yes: export as Markdown & CSV and import the .zip. See Import from Notion and other tools.
Databases
My imported database only has a table. Views don't come across in an import. Add board, calendar or other views yourself. See Database basics.
How do I collect entries from people without an account? Share a form. See Forms.
Plans and billing
Is Free really free? Yes, forever, with no card: up to 3 members and 3 guests. See Plans and limits.
Which currency will I pay in? Naira if you're in Nigeria, US dollars everywhere else, locked at your first payment. See Billing in naira and dollars.
How is per-member pricing counted? Each renewal charges for the members you have that day. Guests are free. See Billing in naira and dollars.
How do I cancel? Click Cancel plan in Members & settings. You keep the plan to the end of the period. See Plans and limits.
What happens if my card is declined? You get an email and a 3-day grace period, then one more attempt. If that fails, the workspace moves to Free; nothing is deleted. See Billing in naira and dollars.
What's the Founders' Deal? One payment of $149 or ₦120,000 for Team-level Rodeo for life, for up to 10 members. See Founders' Deal.
"You're out of AI credits this month". The workspace's board AI credits are used up until the 1st. See Usage.
AI
Can I use Rodeo from Claude or Cursor? Yes, by adding Rodeo's MCP connector. See Connect Claude, Cursor and other AI tools (MCP).
Apps and developers
Is there a desktop or phone app? Yes, for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, plus a browser clipper. See Rodeo everywhere: desktop, mobile and the web clipper.
Is there an API? Yes: a REST API with personal access tokens, and an MCP server for AI tools. See The REST API.
Account
How do I stop emails? Turn switches off in Members & settings → Notifications, or click Unsubscribe in a tips email. See Email preferences.
How do I delete my account? In Members & settings → Account, or at rodeo.so/account/delete. See Delete your account.
