Billing in naira and dollars | Rodeo Docs
Rodeo bills teams in Nigeria in naira and everyone else in US dollars, at prices set for each currency rather than converted at the till, and charges a saved card monthly or yearly so you never have to remember a renewal.

How your currency is chosen
In Nigeria, you pay in naira (₦). Everywhere else, you pay in US dollars ($).
Rodeo goes by your country when you sign in. Before a workspace has paid, the prices in Members & settings follow the country of whoever is looking.
The first payment locks it. The country of the person who pays first sets the workspace's currency, and every renewal and plan switch uses that currency from then on.
Plan | Naira, monthly | Naira, yearly | Dollars, monthly | Dollars, yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Starter | ₦2,500 | ₦25,000 | $3 | $30 |
Team | ₦4,500 | ₦45,000 | $6 | $60 |
Business | ₦8,000 | ₦80,000 | $10 | $100 |
Founders' Deal | ₦120,000 once | $149 once |
Prices are per member, except the Founders' Deal, which is one price for the workspace.
Do it
Compare prices before you buy
Open rodeo.so/pricing.
Use the ₦ Naira and $ USD switch above the plans to see both. The page picks your currency for you on arrival.

Choose monthly or yearly
Click Members & settings at the bottom of the sidebar.
In the plan bar, pick Monthly or Annual · 2 months free. The upgrade buttons update their prices, for example "₦45,000/seat/yr".
Click the plan you want and pay. See Plans and limits for every step.
How renewals work
At checkout your card is saved securely with the payment provider. Rodeo never sees your full card number.
At the end of each month (or year), Rodeo charges that card for the members you have that day, times your plan's price.
The workspace owner gets an email when a payment goes through.
The plan bar always shows what the next renewal costs and when it happens, for example "4 members · ₦180,000/yr · renews Mar 2, 2027".
When a payment fails
The workspace stays on its plan, and the owner gets an email saying the payment failed and when the grace period ends.
After a 3-day grace period, Rodeo tries the card once more.
If that also fails, the workspace moves to Free. Your pages and data are untouched; only paid features and higher limits stop.
To recover, update the card with your bank if it was blocked, or upgrade again from Members & settings to start a fresh checkout with another card.
Tips and limits
One currency per workspace. You can't switch a paying workspace between naira and dollars. A different workspace can be billed in a different currency.
Adding people mid-period doesn't trigger a charge. The next renewal simply counts them.
Yearly is 10 months' price. Every plan's yearly price is ten times the monthly one: two months free.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the period ends. See Plans and limits.
Deleting a paid workspace doesn't cancel its plan. Cancel first, then delete. See Archive, transfer or leave a workspace.
Billing is managed by owners and admins. Other members see the plan but no buttons.
Ideas
A Lagos studio with a London client. Harbor Studio pays in naira for its own workspace. Its London partner agency opens a separate workspace for a joint project and pays for that one in dollars.
Budget once a year. Switch to Annual · 2 months free at the start of your financial year, so software is one line in the budget, not twelve.
Seasonal teams. A content agency adds five freelancers for festive campaigns in November and removes them in January. Monthly billing charges for them only while they're there.
Troubleshooting
The prices in the app are in the wrong currency. Before the first payment, Rodeo uses the country it saw when you signed in. Once a workspace has paid, its currency is fixed.
I was charged more than last month. Renewals count the members on the renewal day. Check the roster in Members & settings: remove anyone who has left, or make outside collaborators guests, who never take a seat.
My card was declined. Rodeo tries again once, after a 3-day grace period. If it still fails, the workspace drops to Free, and you can upgrade again with another card.
